Life at Dakota Nature LLC

We live, work and play in one our nation's most beautiful forested areas - precisely in the middle - the heart of the Black Hills of South Dakota.  It is a place full of natures beauty.  Populated with ponderosa pines, aspen trees, trout filled streams, deer, elk, mountain lion and bison. And of course, Dakota Nature LLC!  

Our family owned shop started off in 2008 as an art gallery, and has grown to include wonderful additions that we wanted to share with you!  Our idea was and is still, to provide art, natural earth elements such as fossils, petrified wood, OOAK hand crafted jewelry, stone bowls and polished stones that are beautiful, artistic and speak of life "on this side of the mountain".

Jewelry is my passion, and most of our pieces are created in my studio that over looks the open meadow surrounded by pine trees.  Its easy to find myself thinking of what the sunset might look like recreated in gemstones...and in fact my jewelry is born this way, from daily views of sun, clouds, moody dusk and even snowfalls.
