Rutilated Quartz is a transparent Quartz with Rutile inclusions that resemble fine needle or hairlike growths. Each Rutilated Quartz gemstone is unique in its pattern of Rutile inclusions, forming needle-like crystal inclusions inside quartz as seen in this Rutilated Quartz sphere. 

2 ½ " across. Very Nice, Clear Quartz with silver Rutile.

Rutile has a metallic appearance, and can be reddish brown, gold, yellowish, silver, black, bluish, or violet. Small rutile needles present in gems are responsible for "star" sapphires, "star" rubies and other "star" gems, an optical phenomenon known as asterism.

Rutilated quartz has been referred to as Cupid's darts, Venus hair stone and Fleches d'amour or love arrows.  Rutile is said to intensify the metaphysical properties of its host crystal and to enhance one's understanding of difficult situations.

Seven Gems Chakra Pendant

I was overjoyed when my pendant came in the mail! It is even more beautiful in person than it was in the photo online! I purchased a ring, as well, to wear with the necklace and I have not taken it off my finger yet! Brenda was so helpful and my order came much faster than I anticipated!
